No. PlotBot does the document filing, tax classification and reconciliation work so your accountant gets clean, ATO-aligned data — they spend their time on advice, not data entry.

Which Australian banks does PlotBot support?

PlotBot reads bank statements from every major Australian bank. Upload your statement in CSV, XLSX, OFX or PDF format and PlotBot extracts the transactions, classifies them, and matches them against your invoices.

How does PlotBot classify invoices for tax?

PlotBot's tax engine maps every invoice to one of six ATO classifications: Immediate Deduction, Division 40 (plant & equipment depreciation), Division 43 (capital works), CGT Cost Base, Not Deductible, or Pending Review. Classification is driven by the property's lifecycle stage and the expense category.

Is my data sent to OpenAI or used to train AI models?

No. PlotBot uses Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini for document extraction. Both providers contractually do not train on customer data. Your documents remain your property and are never used to train models.

Where is my data hosted?

PlotBot is hosted on Supabase infrastructure with data isolation enforced by 51+ row-level security policies at the database layer. We are compliant with the Australian Privacy Act.

Can my accountant access my account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can invite your accountant or bookkeeper as a read-only or full collaborator. They see the same clean data and can export to Xero or download accountant-ready CSVs directly.

What happens after the 14-day free trial?

If you don't subscribe, your account moves to read-only mode — you keep access to your data but extraction pauses. You can subscribe at any time to resume. We never auto-charge a card (no card is required for the trial).

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your account settings — no calls, no forms. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.
